California’s High-Speed Rail Takes Center Stage at Fresno “Keep It Made In America” Town Hall Meeting

As California authorities clear the way to begin construction of the first 30 miles of a planned high-speed rail line through California’s Central Valley, the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) is holding a “Keep It Made in America” Town Hall Meeting in Fresno to urge the use of American-made iron, steel, and manufactured goods in the groundbreaking infrastructure project. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore key Made in America issues related to the initial $1 billion contract awarded to Tutor-Perini; the timeline for the project’s construction; and, the economic impact of state and federal infrastructure investment.
